Distance contracts
Where you purchase services remotely without simultaneous physical presence, Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act may provide a seven-day withdrawal period (七日猶豫期) for eligible distance contracts, unless an exception applies by law.
Services already started
If you request immediate commencement of custom consulting work during the withdrawal window and expressly agree that performance begins before the period ends, statutory withdrawal may be limited to the extent permitted for services already rendered with your consent. We document such consent in the statement of work.
Deposits and milestones
Deposits identified in your statement of work may be non-refundable once preparation or scheduling costs are incurred. Unused prepaid blocks may be refunded pro-rata minus work completed, at our reasonable discretion and subject to mandatory law.
How to request a refund or cancellation
Email info@evolvepoint.digital with your name, invoice reference, and reason. We confirm receipt within three business days and process approved refunds to the original payment method within fourteen (14) business days unless a longer period is required by your bank.
Rescheduling
Review sessions and workshops may be rescheduled with at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice. Late cancellations may forfeit the reserved block as stated in your agreement.
No-shows
If you miss a scheduled session without notice, the block may be charged in full per the statement of work.
Proposed terms
Specific refund windows and deposit percentages in individual contracts may differ; where this page and a signed statement of work conflict, the signed document controls. Standard durations above are proposed market-consistent baselines pending your confirmed business terms.
